Ionic and Covalent Substances

Think salt and sugar!

69 Australian dollars
UQ, University Drive, St Lucia

More details

The world is made mostly of ionic and covalent substances, and you see them every day. You might put a covalent substance (sugar) into your cereal in the morning, and an ionic substance (salt) on your dinner and night. The difference comes down to the protons and electrons inside their atoms, and we explain how this works in this workshop. Starter Workshop 3 on Atomic Structure is recommended before this workshop.
